Bathrooms

“Our clients expect spotless and sanitized bathrooms with attention to every detail.”

Get ready—bathrooms matter! Use different microfiber cloths to avoid spreading germs: blue for mirrors, sinks, and faucets; another for the toilet and touchpoints. Make sure your cleaning kit is stocked and well-placed. We recommend using the Swiffer extendable duster to remove cobwebs and dust the exposed vent(s) (do not remove them), window sills, and lock ledges. Focus on streak-free mirrors, dust-free surfaces, and spotless floors. Vacuum, mop, fold towels neatly, restock toiletries, and leave personal items alone. And why not make a fancy fold on the toilet paper? Every detail counts. Clean thoroughly, and make that bathroom shine like new!

Cleaning Sequence

(Unless directed otherwise in our app)
01 — Pick up objects off the floor (Move rugs outside the bathroom).
02 — Dust ceiling vent(s) and light fixtures.
03 — Sweep/Vacuum the floor to remove all debris.
04 — Scrub/Clean the toilet (interior and exterior, including the rim, the lid, and the base).
05 — Scrub/Clean the bathtub/shower, including fixtures. Remove any products from ledges and edges, spray with cleaner, scrub, dry, and use glass cleaner on any glass walls (if applicable).
06 — Scrub/Clean the sink and faucets using baking soda. Spray with cleaner, scrub, dry, and wipe down the sink counter.
07 — Clean/Polish mirrors (Ensure there are no streaks, lint, smudges, or water marks).
08 — Dust and wipe down all surfaces, fixtures, and light switches. Clean door handles.
09 — Empty the trash bin (Ensure the bin is cleaned, disinfected, and a new bag is placed).
10 — Fold towels and ensure tissue and toilet paper are stocked.
11 — Spot clean surfaces with a microfiber cloth (as needed).
12 — Vacuum and/or sweep & mop the bathroom floor, including closet(s). Place rugs back in their places.*
*If there are any obstructions, such as shoes, clean the floor where accessible.

Quality Check

Before leaving the bathroom, conduct a thorough Quality Check with a focus on symmetry. Ensure all surfaces shine, mirrors are streak-free, trash is removed and liners replaced, and fixtures are sparkling. The bathroom should look as if it were new, reflecting our commitment to quality care. Remember, we’re not just cleaning a bathroom; we’re caring for someone’s home. Arrange towels, toiletries, and items neatly and symmetrically for a polished, organized appearance. A simple touch, like folding the toilet paper into a point, shows the client the bathroom is clean and ready for use.
